Matt LeBlanc is done with Top Gear. The actor has confirmed he is done with the series after Season 26 wraps filming. “My experience on Top Gear has been great fun. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the whole team,” LeBlanc said in a statement. “However, the time commitment and extensive travel required to present Top Gear takes me away from my family and friends more than I’m comfortable with." "The next series of Top Gear promises to be something very special and we have great plans to welcome a new co-host to join the team for 2019 and beyond.” That means LeBlanc will have spent four seasons with the popular series that focuses on the wonderful world of cars. Ellen Pompeo Drags Roseanne Barr: She Never Deserved a Second Chance!

Ellen Pompeo is the star of ABC's Grey's Anatomy. The actress opened up about the network's decision to cancel Roseanne following the lead actress making racist comments about the former aide of Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett. "And the teaching moment begins with 'when someone shows you who they are.. believe them.' She is exactly who we thought she was," the popular actress said in response to an article about Jarrett learning about the racist remark lobbed her way by Barr. "I don't care what the ratings were," Pompeo continued in her epic statement against Barr. "She never deserved a second chance in my opinion. But glad Channing got to give her what she deserves." The "second chance" Pompeo is referring to is likely the show returning to the air after a 20-year hiatus. Related: Roseanne Canceled at ABC! Barr tweeted about Jarrett on Tuesday morning, comparing her to an ape, and it immediately cast a dark cloud over her show's future. Despite apologizing to Jarrett hours later, ABC president Channing Dungey decided to put an end to Roseanne. “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show,” said Dungey, confirming the show was over. Roseanne subsequently apologized to the "hardworking people" who lost their jobs because of the show's cancellation. Related: Ambien Fires Back at Roseanne: Racism Is Not a Side Effect! But she then went on the attack, commenting on reactions from the cast and crew of the show, and retweeting hate-filled messages aimed at them. In a surprising twist in the tale, she went after the pharmaceutical company that produces Ambien in the U.S. and said that she was "Ambien tweeting," whatever that is. The pharmaceutical company did not accept liability and fired back with the following: "People of all races, religions, and nationalities work at Sanofi every day to improve the lives of people around the world. While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication." Oh yes, there are more layers being peeled back on Roseanne Barred Gate by the minute. What do you think about all of this? Is Ellen Pompeo right? Hit the comments below. Supergirl Round Table: Will Kara Have a Choice to Make?

Kara was extremely surprised when she ran into her mother on Supergirl Season 3 Episode 20, and it turned out that she needed her help getting the black rock. Below, TV Fanatics Jay Ruymann, Christine Orlando, and Kathleen Wiedel discuss Alura's return, Alex's desire to be a mom, and a potential Sam sacrifice. Join us! Were you surprised to learn that Alura is alive? What do you think this means for Kara? Jay: Unfortunately, no. As someone very active in the Supergirl fandom, I saw set photos released weeks again spoiling the return of Alura in the present day. However, I would have been. They’ve been so adamant on Alura’s death, so I want to know why they chose to bring her back. As for what it means for Kara, I don’t know. Her mother has been out of her life for so long, but even longer for Alura since Kara was in the phantom zone. Christine: I never saw it coming and was completely shocked. I think Kara will now be torn between her family on Earth, and her mother. I wouldn’t be surprised if the season finale ends up with Kara having to make some type of a choice between the two. Related: Supergirl Season 3 Episode 20 Review: Dark Side of the Moon Kathleen: Was I surprised? Yes and no. I was not surprised that some of Kara's people survived (it's apparently a comic book storyline that I read about somewhere at some point), but I was a bit surprised that Alura herself made it off Krypton. I definitely agree with Christine that the season finale will probably force Kara to choose between the people of her birth and the planet that adopted her somehow. Watch Supergirl Season 3 Episode 20 Online Will Kara get a chance to use the black Kryptonite on Reign, and if so, will it help? Are you wary of the Council's help? Jay: The head of the Council is part of the Worldkiller’s plan, so I’m definitely wary. How did this woman get to such a position of power when her allegiance is with the Worldkillers? And I feel like this plan may work, and that’s why Kara might leave Earth, but that she won’t know that Reign is a separate entity not held back by Sam’s will. Christine: I do wonder whether the black Kryptonite will work, given that the head of the Council is also the person pulling the strings of the Worldkillers. I’m still rooting for Sam to survive, but with each episode that seems more and more unlikely. Kathleen: I'm with both Jay and Christine. The fact that the Council's head works with the Worldkillers definitely makes the effectiveness of the black Kryptonite very, very suspect. Will Alex's desire to be a mom eventually lead her to consider quitting the DEO? Jay: Most definitely. There’s no way Alex can be in the field and be a mother, as they established. Christine: Consider quitting, yes. Having to quit, no. Plenty of people in law enforcement have children and being a member of the DEO doesn’t mean Alex can’t be a great mom. She will most likely have to make some d..

The Middle Spinoff Starring Eden Sher In Development at ABC

We may have only said goodbye to the Hecks just weeks ago, but we may not have seen the last of one of them. According to Deadline, a spinoff focusing on Sue Heck is in the works at ABC, and it could debut as soon as midseason if all goes to plan. What's more, The Middle creators/executive producers Eileen Heisler and DeAnn Heline are behind the project. There are no details about what the potential series would be about. All we know at this stage is that it Eden Sher will lead the cast. The Middle concluded its nine-year run earlier this month, and the final season remained a solid performer for ABC on Tuesday nights. Related: Roseanne Canceled at ABC! It averaged 6 million viewers and a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49 in live + same day metrics. Those are robust numbers for a comedy on any network these days. With Roseanne canceled, ABC will likely be looking for another comedy to put the promotional efforts behind next season, and this could be a hit for the network. The true test will be finding a plausible scenario to continue Sue Heck's storyline. The character was one of the most popular on the original series, so it makes sense that the producers would want to follow her to wherever her character ends up. ABC most recently had a spin-off of black-ish titled grown-ish which followed Yara Shahidi's character as she moved to a college town. Related: The Middle Ending at ABC! It's unclear if this new series set in the universe of The Middle could make the jump to Freeform like grown-ish if ABC passes on it. The Originals Promo: Will Evil Elijah Ruin Hayley’s Funeral?

Elijah Mikaelson as we know him is gone. On The Originals Season 5 Episode 7, he will continue to work against his family, and that gives Greta's family the opportunity to boast about having an original vampire working with them. But Klaus is willing to make the streets of New Orleans rain blood once again to get his point across that everyone who had a hand in Hayley's death will be meeting a grisly end. Just when it seems like things could be slowing down to give the family time to grieve the loss of their loved one, Greta's vampires opt to invade Hayley's funeral. Yeah, that's not going to go down well, especially when you consider the fact that thanks to the Hollow, not everyone can even attend he funeral. Related: The Originals Season 5 Episode 6 Review: What, Will, I, Have, Left There are going to be a lot of mixed emotions, and Hope will likely be feeling somewhat responsible for trusting Roman without knowing enough about him. It's a sad situation for everyone involved, but something tells me Roman may move over to the good side because he was fooled by Greta throughout the whole thing. There's also no telling what Antoinette is up to. Will she continue the work her mother started, or will she bring an end to it? We have no idea, but we'll need to tune in when the episode airs next Wednesday at 8/7c to find out how it all plays out. Remember you can watch The Originals online right here via TV Fanatic. Roseanne Star Lecy Goranson Opens Up About Cancellation: What Did She Say?

With the dust starting to settle in one of the biggest scandals to rock the TV world in quite some time, another Roseanne star has offered some words about the ABC hit being canceled. “[I’m] devastated by the cancellation of Roseanne,” the actress said Tuesday via Twitter, before adding, “But more devastating are the effects of hate speech and racism on individuals and society.” The actress went on to say that everyone should "spread love not hate." There's no denying that it must be a difficult time for the cast and crew. It was difficult enough to bring the show back after a 20-year hiatus. But it emerged as one of the biggest hits on TV and becoming the most watched show on broadcast TV after just two months back on the air. Related: Roseanne Canceled at ABC! It was such a hit that ABC swiftly locked the cast down, and renewed it for an expanded eleventh season shortly after it returned. However, series star Roseanne Barr took to Twitter earlier this week and compared Barack Obama's former aide Valerie Jarrett to an ape, and immediately felt the ire of the internet and the world. ABC decided it was cutting ties not just with Barr, but the show itself, and swung the ax on Tuesday afternoon. “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show,” said ABC President, Channing Dungey in a statement. "Today my words caused hundreds of hardworking people to lose their jobs," the actress said in the aftermath of the cancellation. Related: Roseanne Star Emma Kenney Breaks Silence on Cancellation "I also sincerely apologize to the audience that has embraced my work for decades. I apologize from the bottom of my heart and hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me." Despite her claims that she was sorry, she subsequently took aim at co-stars Sara Gilbert and Michael Fishman because they took to social media to condemn her for her comments. It's going to go down as one of the biggest changes of the tide in the history of TV, and it's surprising that one horrific tweet can change the public perception of one person in such a swift manner.
