The Arrangement: Canceled at E! After Two Seasons

The contract has been broken. This time, it wasn't Kyle or Megan who opted to get out, but E! itself. The Arrangement has been canceled after two seasons at the network, making The Arrangement Season 2 Episode 10 the series finale. The Arrangement starred Josh Henderson, Christine Evangelista, Lexa Doig and Michael Vartan. Henderson's role as Kyle put him in position as a sort of young Tom Cruise, deeply enmeshed in a Scientology-type organization that controlled his every move. He was so embroiled within The Institute of the Higher Mind that he allowed Terrance Howard (Vartan) and his wife, DeAnn (Doig), map out not only his career but find him women suitable for representing the IHM values, as well. That's where Megan (Evangelista), and all the fun of the series came into play. The show, one of two scripted originals to air on E! during the 2017-18 season alongside The Royals, was a breakout during The Arrangement Season 1 but lost a large portion of its audience during its sophomore season. The Arrangement was equally as engaging during The Arrangement Season 2 as it was during its freshman outing, and being paired with The Royals should have guaranteed a good night of viewing. However, both series lost viewers airing on Sunday nights, and it could be due to the competition faced this time around. “Over two seasons, E!’s scripted series The Arrangement has taken viewers inside the world of an A-list movie star filled with secrets, scandal and romance. "While we have decided not to move forward with the series, we are incredibly grateful to the cast and our production partners,” a E! spokesperson said in a statement to Deadline. Personally, it was one of the few soapy shows I looked forward to watching the same night it aired, so I will be one of those who misses it. The premise was different and allowed for an opportunity to imagine what it must be like for those who find themselves in similar situations in real life to make decisions under similar circumstances. The 100: Best New Relationships of Season 5

Relationships are essential to any show, but especially to The 100. The bonds that characters form push the plot in different directions and it creates a better story in the process. Characters are nothing without relationships, both platonic and romantic. Each season The 100 introduces new characters and through that new bonds are formed that raise the stakes, but that also make you feel even more than you thought you could. There is something special about rooting for different relationships and loving someone else's love. Whether it is found family, new romance, soulmate connections, friendships, partnerships, or even something that fits in the middle of that, The 100 delivers every single time. Which is why I compiled a list of all the relationships that stood out the most so far based off strong writing, great acting, and even just the feeling that it created within the fandom. These are the connections to look out for waiting for a heartbreaker of a season finale. Related: The 100: Bellamy and Clarke's Platonic Soulmate Reunions Examined Octavia + Niylah These two had their moments in previous seasons, like the time that Niylah developed a crush on a new girl from space after Octavia thanked her for the clothes. It was easy to think about what could have been explored after that one scene, and then it was like all our prayers were heard when these two continued to cross paths. The 100 Season 4 Episode 5 was just them touching the whole time while they tried to stop Ilian from setting everything on fire. They ended up failing with that little mission, but from there a bond was born. In fact, that bond trickled down to Octavia saving Niylah in the bunker right off the bat. Niylah didn't have to worry about being left out of the bunker because her new space lady crush had her back, which is exactly when I imagine she fell in love. Now during The 100 Season 5 Episode 2 we saw more sweet moments between Niylah and Octavia, a big one being the Ovid book that was a present parallel to the time when Gina gave Bellamy a book in The 100 Season 3 Episode 1. That could just be a coincidence, or it could be the true key to a Blake's heart. Niylah and Octavia seemed to be truly comfortable around each other in that bunker, in fact, it felt like for Octavia this was one of the few people who saw her for the person she wanted to be. Niylah wasn't looking for her to lead or to take a step back from the throne, she just trusted this person, and they looked out for each other. Safety was overrated when they were with one another. The emphasis though is on was. The 100 Season 5 Episode 4 explored the bunker in real time, and one person was missing. In fact, that set off the Where is Niylah search that has continued for the next episode and beyond. There is a popular theory that Octavia ate Niylah during "The Dark Year," which Jason Rothenberg thankfully confirmed isn't true. With Niylah s..

The Walking Dead Shocker: Andrew Lincoln Poised to Depart

Andrew Lincoln's tenure on AMC's The Walking Dead is coming to an end. According to Collider, Lincoln will be leaving the hit drama during The Walking Dead Season 9, and it sounds like his big exit will occur during the first half of the season. The report states that he is likely to appear in just six episodes of the upcoming season, which is expected to debut in October. Gulp. Could you imagine The Walking Dead without Rick Grimes? It's a scary thought, but it might actually give the show a jolt of life. If you watch The Walking Dead online, you will be well aware that the show's quality has not been great of late, what with the battle between the Saviors and the main characters being dragged out for dear life. Related: Lauren Cohan Lands Lead Role on ABC Pilot While AMC or Andrew Lincoln has yet to confirm the news, Collider is a reliable website, so it's very likely that this news is true. Lincoln's co-star, Lauren Cohan is also poised to depart during the upcoming season. Cohan was trying to reach a deal with the show for some time and recently signed up to return in a part-time capacity. She also landed the lead role on ABC's Whiskey Cavalier, which complicated things somewhat. There's no confirmation whether Maggie's story will be brought to a close definitely, but it would be tough to lose two of the show's biggest stars in the same season. One person who isn't going anywhere is Norman Reedus. The Collider report goes as far as saying that AMC has offered Reedus "substantial compensation" to remain on the show and take over the leading role. Reedus has long been a fan favorite, so this will likely be met with a great response from the fans. Related: The Walking Dead Renewed for Season 9! Roseanne Showrunner Breaks Silence On Show’s Cancellation

Roseanne has been canceled by ABC just two months after the series returned to the air after a 20-year hiatus. Series showrunner Bruce Helford has released a statement about the cancellation through his agency, and he is very upset at Barr's comments. “On behalf of all the writers and producers, we worked incredibly hard to create an amazing show. "I was personally horrified and saddened by the comments and in no way do they reflect the values of the people who worked so hard to make this the iconic show that it is,” Helford said through his agent Jay Sures, Co-President of United Talent Agency. Barr shocked the world with a string of tweets early Tuesday morning that were mean-spirited and racist. Roseanne Star Emma Kenney Reacts to ABC Show’s Cancellation

In one of the biggest shocks to rock the TV industry in recent memory, Roseanne has been canceled following Roseanne Barr's racist comments. Even if the ABC comedy was to continue on for Season 11, it sounds like it would have been without some of the cast members. Emma Kenney took to Twitter shortly after the ax swung and confirmed that she would be quitting the show after one season in the role of Harris Conner-Healy. "I am hurt, embarrassed, and disappointed," Kenney shared. "The racist and distasteful comments from Roseanne are inexcusable." "As I called my manager to quit working on Roseanne, I found out the show got cancelled," the actress continued. "I feel so empowered by @iamwandasykes, Channing Dungey and those at ABC standing up against abuse of power and lack of values. Bullies do not win. Ever." TV Ratings Report: Lucifer Goes Out Low, The Bachelorette Returns Way Down

The final two episodes of Lucifer aired on Fox last night. Had the series been renewed, they would have served as filler episodes that could have been slotted into the season. With the series' cancellation, Fox opted to air the two episodes Monday night. The first one secured 2.6 million viewers and a 0.5 rating, while the second one slipped to 2.3 million viewers and a 0.5 rating. That marks a low in the demo. Over on ABC, The Bachelorette kicked off Season 14 with 5.6 million viewers and a 1.4 rating. That's down 22 percent vs. the 2017 launch. Still, the numbers are still solid, so it will keep ABC in the competitive loop this summer. The Crossing (2.7 million/0.5 rating) closed ABC's night with a new low in the demo. The CW: Supergirl (1.6 million/0.4 rating) and iZombie (0.8 million/0.2 rating) were steady at series lows. CBS: Elementary (4 million/0.4 rating) slipped to another series low.
