21 Fictional TV Hot Spots We’d Totally Yelp About

Ever get that craving for an undead fruit pie or wish for a classic diner where you can eavesdrop on F.B.I. agents with your side of fries? Maybe you're tired of having to order your meal and just want a waitress who can (literally) read your mind? From retro to recent, we've got your gastro-television recommendations here! Can't find the listing? We've got you covered with our short, sweet, AND salty reviews of TV's most iconic establishments. From retro to recent, we'll rev up your inner restauranteur! If we COULD calm our hangry beast at one of our favorite TV-verse diner or dive, you KNOW we'd be reviewing the HECK out of it. 1. Royal Diner (Bones) - Awesome Fries But Don't Make a Federal Case Out Of It Royal Diner (Bones) - CLASSIC AMERICAN - Serviceable lunch counter with limited seating. The menu has decent variety although you could probably order the same thing every day for, say, twelve years and be okay with it. 2. Bob's Burgers (Bob's Burgers) - Five-Star Burgers, Meh Service Bob's Burgers (Bob's Burgers) - BURGERS - Family-run, typical greasy spoon. Never a wait for a table. Wait staff are short and sarcastic. Be sure to check out the daily special -- the punny name might be awful but the food isn't! 3. Central Perk (Friends) - The One With the Couches Central Perk (Friends) - COFFEE SHOP - Amazing little coffee shop in the heart of Manhattan. No idea how they can afford the overhead for the location but it does some brisk business despite a few regulars who take up a lot of room. Service is good although staff turnover is high. Have an issue? Ask for Gunther. 4. Regal Beagle (Three's Company) - So Very Retro Regal Beagle (Three's Company) - PUB GRUB - Come for the 1970s atmosphere, leave because you've probably had food (or a drink) spilled on you. The clientele is eclectic and the decor is a little confusing. I think I saw someone actually using a phone booth. 5. Restaurant (Sweetbitter) - High Class, No Name Restaurant (Sweetbitter) - $$$$$ - You get what you pay for. Excellent service, exemplary food. There's a strong resemblance to the Union Square Cafe. Warning: cell phones don't work in the building. Super weird, it's like it's 2006 time warp or something. 6. Frank's Restaurant (C.S.I.) - Always Open But Smells Like Death Frank's Restaurant (C.S.I.) - AMERICAN - Ostensibly open 24 hrs but often inaccessible due to police crime-scene tape. Regularly frequented by shift workers in law enforcement (both on and off-shift). Lots of parking (unless blocked off by more crime-scene tape) and ample seating. View Slideshow

The 100 Season 5 Episode 12 Preview: Predicting The Damocles Downfall

We left off The 100 Season 5 Episode 11 with Octavia and the others all nearing Shallow Valley in anticipation of war. Meanwhile, Kane and Charmaine planned a different way to win against McCreary with the help of Bellamy, only for them to then go and sell their own plan out. As for Clarke, she chooses to side with McCreary in a confusing way to keep Madi safe. This now puts almost everyone at odds, with marching Wonkru and the space group both in weak positions. In a way, they were both sold out and for now, their lives are the ones at risk. Over in Shallow Valley, McCreary is confused why Kane and Charmaine laid out all their cards to him. As for Abby, she went through withdrawal and is now focused on healing the McCreary's prisoners from their illness. Madi is the one truly against sticking around with McCreary, pointing out that they are on the wrong side of this war. All of these arcs are meant to come together at some point soon, with Kane and Charmaine "turning" on the space ground possibly being the stepping stone to Clarke joining back with everyone. This would all have to come together just in time for the marching bunker to end up in Eden, so they would have allies on their side within those grounds. Now The 100 Season 5 Episode 12 is using the title "Damocles - Part One" and it is the first half of the fifth season finale. This is when everything will have to come together for that one last battle. The episode will also have to lay the groundwork for the next season, while also wrapping up the many loose ends that appeared this time around. View Slideshow: The 100: 9 Season 5 Moments Convincing Us of a Bellarke Romance Suffice to say, this episode has a lot of expectations to live up to. With this half of The 100 Season 5 being frustratingly stagnant, there is only so much time for relationships and plots to be touched upon in the right way. Going forward, the last episode of the season will have to set up a lot in terms of characters that may not make it and the shocking twist left behind to be explored in the future. The synopsis for this specific episode is, "In part one of the fifth season finale, Octavia leads her people into war. While behind enemy lines, our heroes must overcome their differences to save Wonkru from extinction." There is also this very helpful trailer to help arrange our expectations. This preview may contain some light teases about the twelfth episode, with a specific focus on characters and scenes that have been discussed before or have been included in promotional videos and/or photos. View Slideshow: 19 of the Most Shocking On-screen Betrayals Proceed with caution if you don't want speculation or a variety of theories, but really, who doesn't like that? Marching to Explosive Glory The group from the bunker is the constant here, it has to be. While we did spend about seven episodes leading up to them planning to march and create a war, they are all..

Shades of Blue Season 3 Episode 7 Review: Straight Through the Heart

Over and over again on Shades of Blue Season 3 Episode 7, Harlee was told one thing. I told you so. That was the message from both Wozniak and Verco when it came to going up against the Intelligence Unit. They both thought it was a bad idea. Considering that Wozniak has spent his career bending or breaking the rules and he's lived by the adage the end justifies the means, and Verco's entire job is to take down corrupt cops, their hesitance was not a good sign. So perhaps it should be no surprise that trying to prove that the Intelligence Unit is in the back pocket of a drug cartel is almost impossible. Once again, Tess proved just how much of a badass she can be... Harlee: Our sole responder is Tess? Tufo: Kamikaze style. Espada: Alone? Tufo: And crazier than we thought. Wozniak: Sometimes crazy is good. Permalink: Sometimes crazy is good. Added: July 30, 2018 Tess may be drowning in overwhelming debt but she's brave and strong and incredibly loyal. There were times in the past where I thought Tess might flip on the team but not anymore. Tess might be frustrated and desperate but I can't imagine her selling out her team, especially Wozniak and Tufo. And as much as I haven't trusted Cole during most of Shades of Blue Season 3, he certainly appeared to have Harlee's back this time. Your Cole's got a PhD in half answers. Wozniak Permalink: Your Cole's got a PhD in half answers. Added: July 30, 2018 It's hard to blame Cole for walking the line to try and keep himself alive, but he did give Harlee the heads up at the warehouse, he led her to Vanessa Ruiz, and he didn't flinch when they found that bloody knife under her driver's seat. Speaking of which, now that we know that Agent Myers is in a relationship with Stahl, her reactions to Harlee have begun to make a lot more sense. I couldn't figure out why Myers put so much trust in Gina recanting her statement over the phone. I'd assume that a good law enforcement officer would ask her to come down to talk in person or end up on her doorstep, but Myers did neither. Myers appeared to trust Stahl, which was more than a little crazy considering all that he's been accused of already, however, the guy is a master at spinning the facts to fit his delusional narrative. Look, Harlee Santos is smart, she's manipulative, and she's ruthless. You can never let your guard down with her. Added: July 30, 2018 The scary part was that Stahl could have been describing himself and I wonder if Myers will survive once she realizes that. But the person I was most disappointed in was Nate. Preacher Season 3 Episode 6 Review: Les Enfants Du Sang

On Preacher Season 3 Episode 6, it looks like Jesse is coming through to save Tulip once again, but when Grandma comes to, all bets are off. You would think Jessie's learned his lesson not to trust his family at all. They couldn't give a rat's behind if they gave their word or agreed to a deal. They live in the now. As soon as TC got done spoonfeeding souls to Grandma, she went right back to capturing Tulip. Jesse's not in his right mind because usually, he's on top of dirty deals around him, but he's got a blind spot when it comes to his family. I suppose that's true of all of us, but most of us don't have families like Jesse. I've been smoking crack all day. Cassidy Permalink: I've been smoking crack all day. Added: July 29, 2018 One would hope. Yes, Jesse says he hates them, but he really doesn't act like it. It might be because he knows what they're all capable of, but family is complicated. They did raise him, and that's a bond that's hard to shake. Even when you want to. Related: Enjoy UNLIMITED access to thousands of Movies and TV shows with Amazon Prime Video. WATCH ANYWHERE. CANCEL ANYTIME! It still hard to figure out the bond TC and Jody have to Grandma. Especially TC. It seems like he's in love with her or was at one time, and maybe that's his bond with her. Episode after episode, Jesse keeps coming up with these plans, and they just aren't getting any traction. Something's gotta give. He says he'll get Grandma what she wants, which we assume is a boatload of souls. TC has mentioned the blood compacts are only broken when Miss Marie decides the debt is paid. She's never going to admit Jesse has paid his debt, no matter how many souls he fetches. Even if he does get his powers back, and summons tons of souls, Grandma won't be satisfied. She's holding onto a grudge. That's what this is all about. Grandma's like a dog with a bone, and she's not going to forget Jesse left her before. She going to hold onto it for the rest of her life. Jesse's only option is to do something with his power. But what? Would it make me the worst person in the world if I kissed you on the day I buried my girlfriend? Jesse Permalink: Would it make me the worst person in the world if I kissed you on the day I buried my... Added: July 29, 2018 If he were to use the voice to get rid of TC and Jody, and the napkins, maybe Grandma will be powerless. It's not like she wrings her hands together to strangle Jesse, she uses the napkin itself. Maybe it's as simple as taking those away from her. Preacher Season 3 Episode 5 Review: The Coffin Then he could use the voice to order her to stay alive. There are limits on the power, but since the voice has the power of Heaven and Hell, it might wield life and death power too. But let's not forget the big picture here. We're living in a Godles..
