Shooter Season 3 Episode 11 Review: Family Fire

Well, alrighty then. Shooter Season 3 Episode 11 put to rest Bob Lee avenging his father's death with the unceremonious death (by suicide) of Ray Brooks. That leaves the remaining episodes of the series focusing on the prevention of this Atlas terrorist attack and Julie channeling her inner Marine and keeping her family safe from Atlas or Red Bama, or whomever. There are two MVP's of this hour, but sadly, our boy Bob Lee isn't one of them. Bob Lee is that friend that your parents warned you about, and while I love the guy with my whole heart, he was nothing but a nuisance the entire hour. It wasn't even worth it in the end when after all this angst Brooks shot himself. No, the MVPs of the hour go to Nadine and Harris. They had their hands full attempting to monitor and rein in Bob Lee like two parents dealing with an insubordinate child. And while they all deserve some peace of mind when all of this is said and done, poor Harris deserves a freaking vacation. Harris: You're paying off Atlas agents now? Nadine: We have a play. Harris: Does your new band of mercenaries have a name yet? Because the A Team's taken. [Looks at Isaac] You cannot be OK with this, right? [Bob Lee enters]. Thank you, someone, reasonable finally shows up. Bob Lee: Harris, I need you to get me into a congressional hearing. Harris: Ugh, I fucking hate you guys. Permalink: Ugh, I fucking hate you guys. Added: August 30, 2018 The guy did not sign up for any of this shit. We were gifted with that beautiful Bob Lee and Harris team up that made them the most dynamic of duos throughout the hour. It was truly magnificent despite the fact that Bob Lee almost got Harris killed for the umpteenth time. Harris needs to pick better friends. This squad ain't it. Harris had so many fun, exasperated, "what the f*ck did I get myself into?" lines that it was difficult to capture them all. He's so over all of these cowboy antics and the felonies being racked up left, right, and center. Related: Shooter Season 3 Episode 10 Review: Orientation Day But what's great about Harris tagging along is how Bob Lee makes him bold and brave. He could have sat in the car while Bob Lee hauled Brooks out into the middle of the woods with a shovel in hand, but there he was saving Bob Lee by telling him something he should have already known and dodging bullets while being a distraction. View Slideshow: 13 Excellent Partners in Crime Duos What does Harris' hero antics get him? They get him freaking arrested. Bob Lee is partially to blame for all of this. It has been frustrating for the rest of the team dealing with Bob Lee who has only been focused on finding out what happened to his dad. Was his quest understandable? Sure, but at some point, he was being selfish in that regard, and it wasn't fair to his team at all. Related: Fall 2018 Premiere Dates. Set Your DVRs! Nadine has been working in overdrive trying t..

Queen of the South Season 3 Episode 11 Review: Diez De Copas

Everybody makes mistakes, but not everyone can survive them. Unfortunately, Kelly Anne’s misstep on Queen of the South Season 3 Episode 11 was so monstrously huge that there was no coming back from it. I was quick to write off Kelly Anne from my list of possible suspects during my review of Queen of the South Season 3 Episode 10, but it appears my logic was flawed. I had assumed that because Kelly Anne knew nothing about El Santo’s locations that it couldn’t be her. Little did I know that Devon Finch had found the cocaine factory all on his own and only needed help tracking down El Santo. Related: Get True Crime Files by ID via Prime Video Channels for Over 1,000 Real-life Mystery & Suspense Shows! Watching the flashbacks was heartbreaking because it was so obvious what Kelly Anne should have done. The moment she got accosted by Finch, she should have high-tailed it back to Teresa and told her everything Devon had said. Teresa, Pote, and James could have come up with a plan, and they could have kept Kelly Anne safe. Instead, Kelly Anne made the fatal blunder of believing what Finch was selling. You know, El Santo, is on a whole other level of criminal. When he’s done with Teresa he will not only kill her he will throw her into a 55 gallon barrel of oil, light it, and watch her sear to death. You could help save Teresa’s life. Devon Permalink: You know, El Santo, is on a whole other level of criminal. When he’s done with Teresa he will... Added: August 30, 2018 I’m not disputing his description of El Santo, it’s spot on, but turning rat on a deranged drug lord and his associates doesn’t usually end with lengthening one’s life expectancy. This entire state of affairs was demoralizing on several levels. I trusted you. I don’t trust anyone. Teresa Permalink: I trusted you. I don’t trust anyone. Added: August 30, 2018 I believed in Kelly Anne up until the moment she searched out Teresa to ask if she wanted to talk about James and said, yet again, that she thought of her as a sister. She was just a tad too pushy, and I didn’t believe that Teresa would have given any sign that she was concerned about James. The exchange set me on edge. It was the moment where the feeling in the pit of my stomach said something was very off with Kelly Anne, and that feeling was right. All of the facts pointed to James, and I can’t fault Pote or Teresa for suspecting him. Teresa: I thought you liked James. Pote: I do. Teresa: Then? Pote: You and I come from the same place, Teresita. We follow the same rules. James is different. Understand? And if it wasn’t him then who the hell it was? Permalink: You and I come from the same place, Teresita. We follow the same rules. James is different.... Added: August 30, 2018 As Pote pointed out, James had planted that tracker in Tony’s Gameboy when he worked for Camila. It didn’t seem much of a stretch to think that he could have been playing the same game here. James ended up having to trap the..

The Good Doctor Season 2 Trailer: Is Shaun’s Job In Danger?

Is there hope for Shaun? That's the big question that springs to mind during the official trailer for The Good Doctor Season 2. It's all thanks to that surgical error on The Good Doctor Season 1 Episode 18. With Glassman transitioning from the hospital's president to a patient, it gives Andrews all the power as he takes on the leadership role. Andrews has no patience for Shaun and makes it very clear that his career is on thin ice as a result of what happened. What's more, Jared is on hand to warn Shaun that things will not be easy now that Andrews has grounds to fire him. It all seems to get too much for Shaun who was genuinely trying to save a life. As for Glassman, the deterioration of his health and becoming a patient has had a lasting effect on him. “I am damn smart, and I am a damn good surgeon,” he says. “And if I can’t be those things, I don’t know who I’d be.” We also get out first look at Lisa Edelstein as Dr. Blaize who shows up to try and help Glassman in his time of need. The Good Doctor struck a chord a chord with viewers last season, and that was thanks in large part to Freddie Highmore's convincing portrayal of Dr. Shaun Murphy. If the first trailer is anything to go by, it looks like Season 2 will follow suit. Watch the full video below and join us in the comments with your thoughts on it. Remember you can watch The Good Doctor online right here via TV Fanatic. The Good Doctor returns Monday, September 24 at 10/9c.

Shameless Shocker: Emmy Rossum Leaving After Nine Seasons!

Emmy Rossum's time on Shameless may soon be over. The popular actress took to Facebook on Thursday with an emotional statement that strongly suggested she was departing the Showtime dramedy after nine seasons as Fiona Gallagher. “The opportunity to play Fiona has been a gift,” Rossum shared. “There are few characters — female or otherwise — as layered and dynamic. She is a mother lion, fierce, flawed and sexually liberated. She is injured, vulnerable, but will never give up." "She is living in an economic depression but refuses to be depressed. She is resourceful. She is loyal." "She is brave. I knew it the second I read the pilot script, this was different, this was special. … Quite simply, the last eight years have been the best of my life.” The most telling part was the conclusion of the statement. “I know you will continue on without me, for now,” she writes. “There is much more Gallagher story to be told. I will always be rooting for my family. Try not to think of me as gone, just think of me as moving down the block.” While there's no confirmation from Showtime at this time, the message definitely seems like a goodbye to the character of Fiona as well as the fans of the show. Related: Shameless Season 9 Expanded; Will Air in Two Parts It's difficult to imagine Shameless without Rossum. She's been front and center since the show debuted back in 2011, with Fiona being the one to care for her various siblings. In recent seasons, Fiona has purchased a laundromat and even an apartment building with the aim of making a name for herself despite her humble beginnings. While Rossum is essentially out of the show, Showtime feels like the series still has a lot of life left in it. “Our feeling is that the Gallaghers can live on…, I don’t mind having them on the air for years to come," said Showtime's president of programming Gary Levine during Showtime's appearance at the Television Critics Association summer press tour earlier this year. It was also announced at the same time that Shameless Season 9 would air in two, seven-episode parts. 14 episodes would be the series' highest episode count to date. Related: Shameless Season 9 Trailer: Make America Gallagher Again The official logline for Shameless Season 9 reads: Political fervor hits the South Side, and the Gallaghers take justice into their own hands. Frank sees financial opportunity in campaigning and decides to give voice to the underrepresented South Side working man. Fiona tries to build on her success with her apartment building and takes an expensive gamble hoping to catapult herself into the upper echelon. Lip distracts himself from the challenges of sobriety by taking in Eddie’s niece, Xan. Ian faces the consequences of his crimes as the Gay Jesus movement takes a destructive turn. Riverdale Season 3 Promo: Fights, New Romances, and A Deadly Mystery!

Summer is almost over for us, but we've got something to look forward to: Riverdale Season 3 is almost here! The gang is back with an all-new promo teasing the drama that's to come in October. After the craziness of the town riots and the killings from The Black Hood, the tension is picking up right where things left off. And we wouldn't want it any other way. What's made clear in the trailer is that our favorite characters are going to keep living their lives happily. But, a new mystery will be back to mess everything up. Based on the promo, we see a few quick clips of Polly's twin babies being held up over a burning fire. The scene looks very ritualistic and spooky. As revealed by the San Diego Comic-Con trailer, the upcoming mystery will focus on Polly, her babies, and the mysterious people from the farm. On Riverdale Season 2 Episode 22, she told Alice that the farmers could visit Riverdale to help her during her grieving process after Hal was revealed as The Black Hood. Well, it looks like they came after all. What makes the mystery even spookier is the end clip. Someone (Jughead?) is yelling out into the night begging for help. The fight is out, but a body is on the ground. Did someone get murdered? Could it be someone we know? Breaking up the drama is love. Romance is EVERYWHERE in the promo. The core four of Betty, Jughead, Archie, and Veronica are basking in their summer season of romance. (We can assume that Archie got out on bail since he's not in jail for most scenes.) But, it's the new couples that popped up that caught our eye. Kevin and Moose share a quick passionate kiss in the halls. Plus, Alice Cooper and FP Jones look quite cozy in bed together. Shippers, rejoice! Your dreams have come true; they're finally together. Now it's your turn, Riverdale fanatics! Are you eagerly waiting for Riverdale's return? What did you love from the promo? Are there any burning questions you hope to get answered on Riverdale Season 3? Don't forget, you can watch Riverdale online via TV Fanatic to get caught up on all the juicy drama and mysteries. Riverdale Season 3 premieres Wednesday, October 10th at 8/7c on The CW.
