Border LIVE Sneak Peek: Lilia Goes Underground!!

For years now, law enforcement has been getting a bad rap. To help combat that phenomena, they've gone live across the nation showing you exactly what it's like to walk in their shoes. One of the most recent shows to join the ranks is Border LIVE from Discovery Network. The U.S. southern border is the most talked about border in the world. Despite border issues being a constant part of the zeitgeist, most people still have no idea what really goes on there. Now, for the first time ever and with never before granted access to some of the most elite officers and agents working along the border, Discovery will transport viewers live to the border to experience what it is like, as it happens, on BORDER LIVE. Related: Enjoy UNLIMITED access to thousands of Movies and TV shows with Amazon Prime Video Each week, award-winning news journalist Bill Weir tracks stories as they unfold while veteran investigative journalist Lilia Luciano is immersed in the field. Discovery and production company Lucky 8 secured filming with the Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations, the Transportation Security Administration and Customs and Border Protection. Crews are embedded out in the field with officers and special agents at key border sites from Nogales, Ariz., in the west to the Rio Grande Valley and points east. Discovery is also on-the-ground with law enforcement offices in Texas including the City of San Juan Police Department and Cameron County Sheriff’s Office as well as in Arizona with the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office. Related: 23 Most Headscratching Cancelations of 2018 The series has a team of experts to provide context and insight including Lenny DePaul, a retired Chief Inspector with the U.S. Marshal Service, and Dr. Victor M. Manjarrez, Jr., a retired Chief Patrol Agent who served in both Tucson and El Paso Sectors. On Border LIVE Season 1 Episode 3, Lilia follows up on a story from a previous episode of this provocative new series and gets a straightforward look at how smugglers enter the country unnoticed. As you can tell by the exclusive clip below, it's not something she's interested in doing on daily basis herself, and she probably wouldn't want to go it alone or in the dark! From the photo above, it looks like the current crisis at the border with long lines and waits due to the South American caravans might be investigated, as well, and when Bill goes live, you never know what he'll encounter. If you love shows like Live PD and Body CAM, then you need to tune into Discovery tonight at 9/8c.

Counterpart Promo: Who’s Erasing Whom?

Watch the trailer for Counterpart Season 2 Episode 3. I have a secret to tell you. What you see in the trailer isn't anything compared to what's in the photographs for "Something Borrowed." Showing them to you would be tantamount to treason, as far as I'm concerned -- horrible, spoilery treason. Here's what we know so far. Howard Alpha is on his way to Echo, a mysterious prison on the other side. That's occurring because of an order given to the interrogator who had been working with Howard and who is in cahoots with Mira, the Indigo School terrorist who kills rather than listens. Related: Counterpart Review: Outside In All of that came to the forefront during Counterpart Season 2 Episode 2. You'd best be watching because this show is incredible. What we don't know? Everything else. What is Echo? Why are so few sent there? How often do people check in with Echo prisoners who are there? We will find at least one prisoner at the facility that will knock our socks off. For the first time during Counterpart Season 2, we will spend time in both worlds, visiting not only with Howard Alpha and his horrors but with Howard Prime taking over his life on "our" side. He and Emily Alpha are growing closer. How much closer? Related: Justin Marks on Counterpart Season 2 and Seriousness of Violence It's been pretty darn difficult to find out how Emily A feels about things when the only person she's talking to outside of her therapist -- someone she doesn't want to alarm for fear she's on her way to the looney bin -- is Howard P. That's about to change, as the trailer shows Naya will be paying her a visit to chat about what she's been feeling and probably to see what she remembers about her life and work pre-coma. Counterpart has proven itself to be thrilling and provocative as well as quite thought-provoking, forcing you to think about the decisions you've made in your life that could have been altered just a bit to take you on a much different trajectory. Will Emily A realize before she's told that Howard P is walking in her husband's shoes? After all, she did know both of them personally. More importantly, why does it suddenly seem imperative for him to have whiter, brighter teeth? Kidding, but it does look like he's receiving a beauty treatment. If you aren't watching Counterpart yet, what's wrong with you? Seriously. I need to know. You can watch Counterpart online to be ready for this one! Meet back here Sunday night for a full review of the episode and hopefully, a discussion.

Penny Marshall Dies: Laverne & Shirley Star was 75

If you're of a certain age, Happy Days was the show that spawned the hits of the era. One of those hits focused on two women trying to make their way any way they could. Laverne & Shirley is where our love affair with Penny Marshall started. Penny Marshall passed away in her Hollywood Hills home last night at the age of 75. She began her career playing a woman bucking the system, and she never slowed down. Laverne & Shirley was hardly Marshall's first acting credit. Her first part is uncredited as a dancer on the Jackie Gleason show in 1953. From there, she went on to several movie roles and supporting parts in a plethora of hit TV shows of the day such as That Girl, The Bob Newhart Show, Banacek, The Odd Couple and Mary Tyler Moore. It was in 1974 that she landed the role of Laverne DeFazio on Happy Days, a series created by her brother, Garry Marshall. Over the years, she played the part of Laverne alongside cohort Cindy Williams as Shirley Feeney for eight years on Happy Days, the successful spinoff they toplined together, Laverne & Shirley, as well as an animated series, Laverne & Shirley in the Army. The characters also made appearances on other Happy Days spinoffs including Mork & Mindy and the Fonz Hour. Despite being one of the most well-known actresses of her generation for a role people remember decades later, Marshall was never nominated for an Emmy, although she was nominated for three Golden Globe Awards for her portrayal of Laverne. Marshall, who died from complications of diabetes according to her publicist and was also diagnosed with brain and lunch cancer in 2009, was surrounded with people who inspired her. She directed four episodes of Laverne & Shirley while working on the series, but it wasn't until 1986 that the directing bug really hit her. After taking over at the last minute for when Jumpin' Jack Flash lost its director in 1986, Marshall went on to direct the first of her two biggest hits, both which starred Tom Hanks. Under Marshall's direction, Hanks did some of his best work as a young boy who went to sleep dreaming of being a man and awoke in a man's body. Marshall became the first woman to direct a film to break the $100 million gross mark. That was 1988. In today's dollars, it's closer to $200 million. Awakenings, starring Robert DeNiro as one of many patients who suddenly awaken after years in a coma-like state, was Marshall's next movie. While it wasn't a blockbuster like Big, it proved Marshall didn't only have a knack for comedy when the movie was nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. A League of Their Own in 1992 coupled Marshall again with Hanks for a historically based movie on women's baseball also starring Geena Davis, Rosie O'Donnell, and Madonna. It, too, broke the $100 million box office. Marshall was an independent woman with a daughter named Tracy who got to know her older brother,..

17 TV Characters Who Throw Such Good Parties We Need An Invite

Throwing a party is no easy feat. It takes a certain level of skill to throw a successful party, however, there's a handful of TV characters that have mastered it. These characters could add "party planner" to their resumes because no detail is ever overlooked and they make the planning process look effortless. Related: Get Starz via Prime Video Channels for Captivating Original Series & Hit Movies! Not to mention decorations, food, and music are always on-point. These are the characters we'd want to party with and the guest-lists we'd love to be on to ensure we ring in the New Year with a bang! What other characters would you add to the list? 1. Tahani - The Good Place After her death, Michael relied on Tahani to host grand and lavish galas in The Good Place. Before her death, the towering Brit with legs for days served as a party planner mingling with the likes of Bono. Throwing parties is in her blood, and she's damn good at it! 2. Veronica Lodge - Riverdale If anyone knows how to throw a good party it's the Queen B of Riverdale. Ronnie comes from money and lived in Manhattan so her expectations are understandably high. She's also the owner of Le Boutit, a swanky speakeasy right under Pops' diner that caters to high-school students, serves up non-alcoholic drinks, hosts an elegant open-mic night and the occasional high-stakes poker game. 3. Fallon - Dynasty When money isn't an issue, you can throw the hottest ragers every weekend. And sometimes, it seems like Fallon Carrington does. Her events are the talk of the town and everyone wants an "in." So, if you happen to score an invite to a Carrington party, you better dress to impress. 4. Jane - Jane the Virgin Jane Villanueva is a planner, which makes her the perfect party host. Just look at how meticulously she planned Ro and Xo's wedding. But don't expect this to be any kind of rager -- Jane is a family gal so letting loose would include playing games, hanging with her Abuela, and dancing to some throwback tunes. 5. The Mikealsons - The Originals When you've been throwing parties for thousands of years, you start to figure out the recipe for success. Each of the Mikealson events has a touch of class and elegance, though we can't promise that they don't have ulterior motives or that the event wouldn't end with dead bodies dropping everywhere. 6. Mina - The Resident One thing to know about Dr. Okafor: she throws a lavish Halloween bash! And if you can impress on Halloween, the toughest party to host, you can impress anytime! Mina's bash wasn't tame either. Just like the fiery doctor herself, people were making out in closets and throwing up their drinks in the kitchen. Get ready! View Slideshow

NBC Confirms Midseason Schedule: The Enemy Within Replaces Manifest

NBC is making some big changes in 2019. With a string of shows waiting in the wings to premiere, the network has announced when we can expect most of them to hit the air, and what it means for some of the current shows on the schedule. On Mondays, The Enemy Within will step into Manifest's 10/9c slot. The latter will run for 16 episodes, and The Enemy Within will take over effective February 25. Related: The Blacklist Banished to Fridays That slot has been notoriously used to boost new shows thanks to The Voice. Speaking of The Voice, the series will run for six weeks less on Tuesdays. A Million Little Things Round Table: Did Jon and Ashley REALLY Have An Affair?!

Jon is not the man that everyone thought he was. On A Million Little Things Season 1 Episode 10, Delilah found out the hard way that the Dixon finances were not what she thought after being served with eviction papers. Elsewhere, Gary found out Maggie was taking chemo, and it led to a sweet moment between the two, Sophie learned of her mother's pregnancy, and Rome decided he wants off of his meds. Join TV Fanatics Christine Orlando, Jack Ori, and Rachelle Lewis as they discuss the winter finale! Were you surprised by the Jon and Ashley twist? Do you think they were having an affair or is it a fake out? Christine: I suspected they could have been having an affair from the start, and that kiss certainly made it look that way. I hope it’s not the case, but it’s not surprising. Jon had his secrets, and Ashley was obviously involved in them. Still, it’s pretty ballsy for Ashley to be sleeping with Jon and then be cozying up to his family! Jack: I hope it's a fake out. It seemed too obvious for them to be having an affair, and I'm curious about what Jon meant when he said: "I'm not the man everyone thinks I am." I don't think that was just about the affair or whatever. Related: A Million Little Things Season 1 Episode 10 Review: Christmas Wishlist Rachelle: I don’t think they were having an affair. I think it was maybe a moment of weakness. I feel like Jon opened up a little to Ashely about his issues. I could be wrong, but I agree with Jack that it is too obvious. I was surprised by the kiss, but I don’t think it means they had an affair. Does finding out Jon was not as perfect as he seemed and possibly cheated too change your perception of Delilah and Eddie's relationship? Will they end up together? Christine: It doesn’t change anything for me. It’s the old adage, two wrongs don’t make a right. It looks like everyone was doing the wrong thing in this scenario. I can’t imagine Delilah and Eddie ending up together. I get more of a good friend vibe between them than a great chemistry or love. Also, I’ll be very surprised if Delilah carries this child to term. Related: Elementary Canceled After Seven Seasons at CBS! Jack: No, both are equally wrong. It will be interesting to see how the characters react if they find out about this and whether they treat it the same way they did Eddie and Delilah's affair. Rachelle: It doesn’t change a thing for me either. I don’t agree with their actions, but I have always understood why both Delilah and Eddie turned to each other. I don’t feel like they will end up together. Their relationship was momentary. They needed each other while dealing with their own relationship troubles. I think they will continue to be friends, but that is it. I also am on the same page as Christine that I will be surprised if she carries the baby to term. 23 Most Headscratching Cancelations of 2018

Two thousand eighteen is coming to an end and it has taken away a number of our favorite TV shows along with it. Some shows were canceled due to low ratings and others were axed because of issues with the network they were on. Whatever the case may be, many fandoms' hearts were broken when they heard the devastating news that their favorite show had come to an end. Related: Enjoy UNLIMITED access to thousands of Movies and TV shows with Amazon Prime Video. WATCH ANYWHERE. CANCEL ANYTIME! There are a few cancelations TV Fanatics can stomach but these shows are not them. These shows deserved better. The characters' stories were far from over and fans were not ready to say goodbye just yet. So sit back and let's reflect on the TV cancelations of 2018 that made us question everything. And make sure to let us know which 2018 cancelation had you scratching your head the most. 1. Shadowhunters (Freeform) #SaveShadowhunters. That hashtag was trending for multiple days after Freeform canceled the show and announced Season 3 would be its last. Shadowhunters is extremely popular and filled with a ton of representation. It even beat out many other shows at the People's Choice Awards, dominating the television category. The cancelation made little to no sense given its dedicated and loyal fanbase. Some rumors have circulated stating it was canceled due to discrepancies between Netflix and Freeform and no one else can pick it up because they won’t give up the rights. The second half of Season 3 is coming next year, and they’re getting a two-episode wrap-up, but considering the number of stories the show had left to tell, it’s definitely not going to be an ending that will satisfy fans. 2. Everything Sucks! (Netflix) A lot of shows thrive on streaming services, but Everything Sucks! was not one of them. The show was perhaps ahead of its time, despite it taking place in the 90s. It had a similar vibe to the also underappreciated Freaks and Geeks. Netflix canceled Everything Sucks! less than two months after it was released due to not enough people streaming past the first episode. The problem was the show wasn't able to grow with viewers. If it was perhaps on a cable network, it might have gotten the chance to grow alongside its audience. The quick cancelation was a real shame, especially since one of its main characters was a part of the LGBT community. Peyton Kennedy's performance as Kate Messner alone is worth giving this quirky show a shot. 3. The Royals (E!) The E! Network only had two scripted dramas, and while the ratings for neither show were off the charts, The Royals had a very dedicated fanbase and a ton of story left to tell. The show had put the controversy surrounding show creator Mark Schwahn behind them ahead of Season 4. The fourth season delivered some of its best episodes yet and the Season 4 finale left viewers shocked and dismayed. The Henstridge family's drama was off the charts, and King ..

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Renewed for Seasons 3 and 4 at Netflix!

Sabrina Spellman has cast a spell on Netflix. The streamer has confirmed that Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been renewed for Seasons 3 and 4. Sixteen new episodes have been ordered, and they will be split into two parts and billed as Parts 3 and 4. The news comes on the heels of Netflix releasing Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 1 Episode 11 aka the Midwinter's Tale holiday-themed special. It stars Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, Jaz Sinclair, Richard Coyle, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen, Lachlan Watson, and Gavin Leatherwood. Jedidiah Goodacre and Alexis Denisof have been added to the cast for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 2. Related: Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 1 Episode 11 Review: The Midwinter's Tale “Praise Satan! I’m so grateful to my partners at Warner Brothers, Netflix, Berlanti Television and Archie Productions for supporting this darker vision of the world’s most famous teen witch,” series creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said. “And I’m thrilled to be continuing to tell Sabrina’s chilling adventures with our incredible cast and crew, led by the unstoppable Kiernan Shipka.” The renewal is unsurprising, especially when you consider it focuses on one of the most famous witches on TV and in the world of comics. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 1 was certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with an approval rating of 90 percent. Related: Riverdale Spinoff Set at The CW The series started its life as a spin-off of Riverdale that was in development at The CW, but Netflix later swooped in and offered Warner Bros. TV Group a production commitment for 20 episodes. It's hard to imagine just how different the series could have been if it remained on The CW. In any case, more episodes are on the way, and that's always a good thing. What are your thoughts on the early renewal? Hit the comments below. Daredevil Star Says Netflix Was Responsible for Cancellation, Not Marvel

Daredevil's demise at Netflix was quite the surprise for fans of the series. In the aftermath of the decision to end the superhero drama, many have questioned whether the decision came solely from Netflix or if Marvel played a part in the cancellation. Amy Rutberg, who played Marci Stahl on the series that kickstarted Netflix's Marvel TV Universe has broken her own silence on what might have went down. “My contacts at Marvel were very surprised. Any of the rumors that it was a Marvel decision are wrong, I think it was purely a Netflix decision. That comes from personal conversations with people high up at Marvel. They were surprised,” Rutberg admitted in an Inverse interview. “We had heard rumors we would start production as early as February 2019,” she said. Related: Daredevil Canceled After Three Seasons “It’s a little unusual to be that far ahead in the planning and cancel the show, which makes me think Netflix was laboring over whether or not to cancel it. My guess was it was not an easy decision.” Daredevil marked the third series set in the Netflix Marvel TV Universe to be canceled within the space of a few weeks. Marvel's Iron Fist was the first one to be given the boot, and given that the show was maligned by critics from the get-go, that one made a little bit of sense. Then, one week later, Luke Cage's cancellation was announced despite the fact that pre-production on a third season was underway. Related: Charlie Cox Breaks Silence on Daredevil Cancellation Daredevil was long considered the most popular of the shows in that specific universe. As such, fans expected it to get a fourth season. However, the ax swung on the series in late November, even though the entire fourth season had already been plotted out. In the same interview, Rutberg confirmed that there was a detail in the contract that would prevent characters from the universe appearing on other platforms. “There is this very real contract with Netflix,” she said. “I had heard 18 months, maybe it’s two years. I suppose it’s possible that Marvel could buy them out, but I have not heard so much as a whisper.” With the above three cancellations, Jessica Jones and The Punisher are the sole Netflix-Marvel TV shows that are still ongoing. You could argue that The Defenders is one of those, but there are currently no plans to have another superhero team-up. What are your thoughts on the news, TV Fanatics? Hit the comments below. 17 Things We’re Hoping For in the Timeless Finale Movie

Goodbyes are hard, but sometimes, you're lucky enough to get some closure. In this case, NBC gifted Timeless fans with closure for the holiday season. Following the outrage from dedicated fans, the network greenlit a two-hour series finale movie that will air on December, 20. Related: Get HBO via Prime Video Channels for Addictive Dramas, Hilarious Comedies & Hit Movies! This is technically the second time NBC "saved" the series, but as we reach the homestretch, we're wondering if the time-traveling squad will reverse the damage done on the Timeless Season 2 cliffhanger and save their beloved friend, Rufus. Here's what we're hoping the finale movie addresses before we permanently send Lucy, Rufus, and Wyatt off in the time machine! 1. Rufus' Rescue We left off on a major cliffhanger: Rufus died, and future Wyatt and Lucy emerged from the time machine to help the present-day squad save their friend. Rufus' rescue mission will surely be the focus of the film because we need our dynamic trio reunited before the hour is up. 2. Fun with the Dopplegangers The addition of future Lucy and Wyatt opens up a lot of possibilities. For one, they know what happens in the future which means they will be very insightful when it comes to providing answers to some of our other lingering questions. Plus, it'll be entertaining to see both sets of characters interact with one another and see how they've grown as heroes. Future Lucy does look pretty badass! 3. Two Places at Once? Throughout the two seasons, all of the time traveling was done to time periods where Lucy, Flynn, Wyatt and Rufus didn't already exist. So how were future Lucy and Wyatt able to travel to a time period where they not only existed, but they were able to confront their past selves? Were they able to find a glitch in the future? Did they invent a new time machine with advanced capabilities? How would this not cause some kind of time warp? Answers, please. 4. The Mystery of the Journal Again, traveling back to a time where you exist used to be frowned up, but since it is now a possibility, does that mean future Lucy was the one who traveled back in time to give Flynn the journal? Why was the journal so important in the first place? Why did she give it to Flynn of all people? And did future Wyatt know about it? 5. Wyatt or Flynn? It's no secret that both these men harbor deep feelings for Lucy. Can you blame them? She's lovely. The love triangle must have resolved in the future, so we need to know if Lucy picked Flynn or Wyatt. Both have their pros and cons: Lucy and Wyatt have more chemistry, but their love story was cut short by Jessica's resurrection. On the other hand, Flynn understands Lucy on an emotional level, but his motivations have always been to bring back his wife and kids. Truthfully, I'm fine with either love interest just as long as Lucy is happy. 6. What Happened To Wyatt and Jessica's Baby? Jess..
